After moving across the country from Montreal to Banff Alberta, Gerry and Anne Goulet started Bow Valley Office Supplies in 1980 in the basement of a mall on Banff Avenue.

We quickly grew to include locations in both Banff, Canmore and Mini Thni as well as servicing customers in the East Kootenay region of British Columbia. After joining the largest Canadian office products buying group, Basics Office Products in 1997, we changed our name to Bow Valley Basics and have operated under that moniker ever since.

Many things have changed over the 40 plus years we have been serving our customers. Larger locations and warehousing, expanded product and service offerings to include janitorial products, arts and crafts, toys, gifts, office furniture and print and design services. But somethings never change, such as our continued commitment to excellent customer service.
